The making of an iconic lamp

Mariano Fortuny loved to experiment with light, and was a famous inventor and stage lighting technician in his day. In fact his developments are still used in prestigious theatres around the world.
Fortuny floor lamps are the result of that experimentation with indirect and diffused light.
The Atelier 32 has a diffuser diameter of 32 cm.
This quartz & gold leaf lamp has an aluminium shade and steel structure, and has 360-degree swivel and tilt capacity.
